Titanium-based alloys production process
Titanium ingots are produced in the vacuum-arc furnaces in single, double, and triple re-melting. The ingots compliance with the requirements of Russian and foreign standards is ensured by high quality of the charge materials, special melting technique as well as close chemical composition control. In addition, the methods of non-destructive testing of the finished products are widely used.
The high quality of the ingot guarantees its successful forming into the forged semi-finished product in the Forging and Pressing Facility equipped with modern automated control machinery.
