A master is a specialist who has achieved a high skill in any area. This is probably why, in production, the site foreman should be a person with not only extensive experience, but also high organizational and communication skills that help to effectively manage the production process.
Dmitry Viktorovich Alentiev worked for more than 20 years as a site foreman of workshop No. 230. 6 years ago he became a senior foreman for manufacturing spare parts and technological equipment and is currently successfully coping with a wide range of duties, trying to competently and with full dedication to manage the site entrusted to him. For fruitful and responsible work, he was awarded the title of CMK Honorary Metallurgist.
“It is very interesting to work as a foreman: you need to establish contacts with the staff and organize the production process, ensure the placement of workers and teams, control the availability of the required materials on the site, the implementation of production plans, compliance with technological processes and labor discipline. The work is always interesting and intense” — says Dmitry Viktorovich.
Back at school, Dmitry decided that before military service he needed to get a profession. Therefore, after the 8th grade, he entered the technical school in the direction of "Metal forming". After granting the honors diploma in the specialty of a technician-technologist, he joined the army. After returning from military service in 1992, he began his career at CMK as a grinder in shop No. 230. The team and the internal routine were already familiar to Dmitry: while studying at the technical school, he had an internship in workshops No. 51 and 54. A few months later, Dmitry became the technologist of shop No. 230, and then, thanks to good organizational skills and a subtle understanding of production processes, he was appointed to the position of the foreman of the mechanical section.
So, for more than 20 years, Dmitry Alentiev comprehended the intricacies of manufacturing tooling. In connection with the transfer to the position of the senior foreman 6 years ago, the scope of duties has expanded significantly: in addition to organizing the work of teams, monitoring technological discipline, Dmitry Viktorovich is engaged in filling out plans for the site, monitors the implementation of production tasks, interacts with engineering and technical workers of the workshop, maintenance personnel and other divisions of the enterprise.
In his free time, Dmitry Alentiev prefers active leisure, full of new experiences. Children's passion for checkers, which in school years brought success at regional competitions, was forgotten over time, giving way to travel around Russia. Every year Dmitry spends his holidays in the resorts of the Krasnodar Krai: inspired by seascapes and amazing southern nature.
